Matrix Information Consulting, Inc. is certified by the state of NJ under the Unified Certification Act as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE). The state has certified that Matrix meets the extensive criteria established by New Jersey Public Law 1986, Chapter 195. We have continuously held these certifications since 1991. In 1999, Matrix met the requirements for certification as a WBE by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). Since their inception in 1997, WBENC has worked to remove barriers in the marketplace which impede the progress and growth of businesses owned and managed by women. The council is now widely accepted as a respected national WBE certifying organization. Key among WBENC's programs is nationwide access to a certification standard, maintenance of a national WBE database and the enhancement of procurement opportunities through the dissemination of "best practices" information and the provision of training. The nation's most prestigious organizations now accept and/or require WBENC certification for women-owned firms as prerequisite for procurement opportunities. Many of these companies and agencies feel strongly enough about the need to have a certified WBE vendor group for them to partner with, that they lend their corporate support to strengthen the WBENC organization. Many large corporations, through supplier diversity programs, seek to obtain high-quality services from WBE businesses while strengthening their company's marketing strategies to include minority and women customers. Since 1997 Matrix has been an active member of the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut Chapter of the National Association of Computer Consultant Businesses. Matrix chose this organization because of their dedication to encourage the practice of the highest profession ethics and standards in our industry. NACCB is the only trade association exclusively devoted to representing and developing relationships between companies that specialize in providing highly skilled computer professionals to clients in need of temporary technical support and/or IT services/solutions. The NACCB is headquartered in Alexandria, VA and currently has 21 chapters with members in nearly every state. This not-for-profit organization has grown over the years since its inception in 1987. Currently they have 400 company members with over 12,000 offices across the United States and more than 15 billion dollars in combined revenue. This growth is a direct reflection of the increased use of contract computer consultants by companies worldwide. Clients can count on NACCB members to provide the best available workers to get the job done. Matrix is devoted to being an active member of the NACCB.
